Red Bird Flight Simulator Back in Action!
After many months of construction the Providence simulator room and bathroom have been returned to service! Just in time for the fall weather the Federal Aviation Administration approved Advanced Aviation Training Device is a great way to keep progressing in your training!
Some great news! Dominic is officially a Private Pilot! Part of being a pilot is making decisions. Taking in all information and making the call is what Pilot In Command authority is all about. With the favorable runway at Providence airport being closed, Dom made the call to move his checkride to our Norwood location. Great decisions, and great work!
You may have seen Sarah around at a few different airports. Be it Westerly, Quonset, Providence, or somewhere in between! Sarah has become a staple in the Rhode Island Pilots community. She is not only an active member of the Rhode Island Pilots Association but has assisted in getting many members of aviation involved in the community. Sarah has brought together aircraft owners, aircraft controllers, mechanics, designated pilot examiners, and schools all into a room to build aviation into a welcoming and educational environment. Moreover Sarah is now an Instrument Rated pilot! Congrats!
