Ryan Konrath completed his 1st solo today. It was a tricky day with the crosswind picking up to about a 6kt component towards his 3rd lap, but he handled it great! His first call was to his 96 year old grandfather who sparked his love of aviation many years ago. Ryan works as a ramp agent for SWA here at KPVD so he was pretty happy to get it done here just before going to work. He hopes to progress through his ratings and come full circle so that one day in the near future he can fufill his dream of barking at the rampy’s from the flight deck of a 737!
