EAA Airventure is the world’s largest aviation celebration. Every summer thousands descend upon Oshkosh, WI for a week of seminars, presentations, shopping and to share in the spectacle of seeing 10,000 airplanes of every shape, make, size, and vintage in one spot. For many, it is the event around which their entire year revolves.

Because of COVID-19, EAA Airventure 2020 is going to be a virtual event. While it may not be the same, this makes it possible for every person to experience a bit of what makes “Osh” so special.

In place of Airventure, EAA is hosting “Spirit of Aviation Week” from July 21-25. The online event will feature a collection of almost 200 seminars, presentations and discussions covering every aspect of aviation whether you are interested in military aviation, instrument flying, flight training, ownership or even homebuliding. The streaming content will be a mix of live events and prerecorded seminars from previous Airventures.

Some sample titles of presentations:

“A Life Restoring Vintage Airplanes”

“Briefing and Flying an Instrument Approach”

“ATC and You: Don’t Let that Cloud Fool You”

“Mental Math for Pilots”

“A Conversation with Boeing”

“Flying the F-117 Stealth Fighter”

The entire schedule is viewable at https://www.eaatogether.org. When you find a presentation you are interested in, simply add it to your calendar and set a reminder.
