Horizon’s own Tori flew her first solo flight this week. With everything going on in the world, her first solo held special meaning. Being asked to practice self distancing and quarantines can feel isolating and even lonely. Despite the fact that the seat next to her was empty, Tori felt that in that moment she was not alone. She was flying with everyone that helped guide her to that moment. She had her instructors with her. She had her friends and family there, too. She had Larry and Julian from Horizon’s maintenance team with her. That moment was more than a product of her own effort, it was the product of an extended family wishing nothing but success for her.

The Horizon Aviation family will continue to be here for all our students. We are hard at work developing ways to keep all of you engaged as the world hunkers down.
