Horizon Aviation is proud to announce the addition of a factory-new Tecnam P2006T to its training fleet of aircraft. The Tecnam represents a modern, technologically advanced solution for multiengine training at an affordable rate.
Designed and built by Tecnam in Capua, Italy, the P2006T is the lightest certified twin-engine airplane currently on the market. The performance of the airplane makes it a perfect option for pilots who are experiencing multi engine flying for the first time, with speeds and handling similar to that of a Cessna 172. The four-place airplane is powered by two 100hp Rotax engines with constant speed MT propellers, which combine to give the airplane a max cruising speed of 150kts and a stall speed is 55kts. The Garmin G1000 avionics suite provides the pilot with all the information required to fly and navigate the airplane safely and efficiently.
Horizon’s Tecnam will be based at its Norwood, MA facility. The airplane will be on display at Horizon’s upcoming “Hangar Day” open house at the Warwick, RI facility on Saturday July 13th.
